PTA

The PTA is an integral part of the school community.  The role of the PTA is to fundraise to provide funds for 'extras' for the school and also to provide a closer link between home and school.

Please feel free to contact the PTA with ideas for future events, feedback or offers of help.

If you would like to be more involved and join the PTA Committee or just be on our 'Helpers List' and help out occasionally, please contact us or come along to one of our meetings.

CHRISTMAS CARD PROJECT

Welcome to our PTA & PSA annual Christmas Card Project once again in partnership with Art Projects for Schools (APFS). The funds raised through your support will be used towards continuing to develop facilities for the school, which your child will benefit from. At the same time, the project is a great opportunity to recognise and celebrate your child’s creativity and the items they make are great to send to family and friends.

Children have already been busy during September creating amazing artwork in class that has already been sent into APFS and scanned onto their systems.

On the last day of term, the artwork will come home with every child along with an information sheet on how to place an order, so please keep an eye out for this.  Any children not present, their art will be kept in their classroom, and they can be brought home on October 30th.

If you would like to order items, you will have until Midnight 1st November to place your order and pay online.

There is no need this year to return any artwork back to school, these can be kept whether you place an order or not.

  • Your child’s design can be reproduced on many items such as Christmas cards, mugs, tote bags and more.  All prices are listed on the APFS website www.apfsorders.co.uk,

What happens next:

  • Artworks will come home with a parent leaflet. As soon as you have this, you can order online at www.apfsorders.co.uk,
  • Enter the unique artwork code found on the reverse of your child’s artwork.  The deadline for ordering is Midnight 1st November.
  • The cards and other items purchased will be sent to the school, sorted by PTA volunteers, and distributed to classes, to be brought home by the children in mid-November.
  • Any late orders through the APFS website will not arrive with the bulk school order and may be subject to delivery fees.

This fundraiser is not compulsory, so please don’t feel you have to make an order unless you wish to! More information and a quick QR link to the ordering portal is also attached to this email.

Enquiries: Any enquiries relating to the project should be addressed to the PTA on croftonjuniorpta@gmail.com, or alternatively you can contact Art Projects For Schools directly by calling 01227 262417 or by email on info@apfs.org.uk.

 Thank you for your support,
